YOUR DETAILS, YOUR CHOICE
Registry privacy.

What this is for
Dead Traveler uses the details you submit to assess potential fit and contact you about future contract opportunities. Joining isn’t an application for an open role or a guarantee of work. We do not add you to a marketing list or sell your information.
What we keep
Your name, email, country or region, timezone, skills, experience, availability, engagement preferences, and anything optional you choose to share, including how you use and learn about AI. Please leave out street addresses, government IDs, banking and tax information, health information, and confidential client material. Formal onboarding is handled separately after selection.
Where it goes
The registry is stored privately in Postgres on Neon and processed by our Vercel-hosted website. A private Notion review copy is available to authorized people reviewing potential contractors. These providers may process information in countries other than yours. Links you provide remain hosted by their respective services; we do not fetch or copy their files automatically.
Retention and removal
We retain registry profiles for up to 12 months from submission, unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Expired profiles are removed from the active registry during scheduled maintenance. Notion review copies are cleared and moved to trash; provider backups and Notion page history may persist under their own retention settings.
Save the removal code shown after your first submission. Use it on the removal page to withdraw consent and erase your active registry details. Removal of a Notion review copy is queued separately and retried if the service is unavailable. If you lose your code or want to correct your details, email Nate@DeadTraveler.com; we’ll verify the request before making changes. To replace a profile yourself, remove it first and submit again.
Abuse prevention
We store a short-lived keyed hash derived from the request’s IP address to limit repeated submissions, rather than storing the raw address in the registry. These counters expire after an hour and are cleared during daily maintenance. Hosting providers may keep their own security logs. We do not include form contents or removal codes in application logs.
